Creator & Performer

Multidisciplinary artist working across theatre, dance, and philosophy. After studying Philosophy at Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ), she became one of the co-founders of the independent platform Boş Sahne, where she began developing a body-centered approach to performance. Since 2011, she has been learning from and collaborating with Japanese artist Iida Shigemi through the Mitakara tradition. In 2022, she returned to the stage with GONG, a non-verbal dance-theatre piece reflecting her personal journey through movement, healing, and transformation.

Sound & Light Design

Medical doctor, Acupuncturist and a multi-talented artist focused on sound and light design. With an interest in both Western medicine and Eastern healing arts, he brings a subtle, sensory approach to his artistic work. Critical Acclaim

What critics and audiences are saying about GONG

"In today's fast-paced world where we constantly complain about time flying by, GONG offers a moment to reflect. This theatrical dance performance portrays the cycle of life from birth through adulthood, capturing the universal human experience in a wordless yet powerful narrative."

Tiyatro Dergisi

November 2024

"GONG presents an impressive narrative about the depths of emotions. This work, staged by Filiz Bozkuş Al as performance art, tells how suppressed emotions affect and transform a person. The play conveys a journey of openings, suppressions, blockages, and releases through an inner growth dance."

TekPerde

November 2023

"An in-depth exploration of the '3 Treasures' concept. The energy accumulated during the pandemic led to the birth of GONG — a ritual, a ceremony, a festival, but essentially a profound dance performance that transcends traditional boundaries."
